It has recently come to my attention that in the arguably unlikely but not impossible case that spotify shuts down suddenly or weirdly specifically looses the data of my playlists and in particular my liked songs I would loose years of accumulated gorgeous songs.
I have thus created vherrmann/spotify-backup-playlists which can be used to backup your playlists/liked songs in a simple json format.
